This beautiful Gaudiya Vaishnava classic, 'Sri Gauranga-Lilamrta', is an extremely rare manuscript. It is the combined work of Srila Visvanatha Chakravarti Thakura and his disciple, Sri Krishna Dasa. Srila Chakravartipada composed the first eleven verses in Sanskrit, known as 'Sriman-Mahaprabhor-Ashta-Kaliya-Lila-Smarana-Mangala-Stotram', which serve as the seed verses describing the eternal eightfold daily pastimes of the fair-complexioned Lord. His disciple, Sri Krishna Dasa, expanded upon these eleven verses with Bengali verses to provide a more detailed portrayal of the Lord's daily activities. This translation by Dasaratha-Suta Dasa (ACBSP) brings this rare classic to the English-speaking audience, capturing its beauty and allowing us to experience a day in the life of the Golden Avatara.
